Submitting a manuscript through ScholarJMS takes about 10 minutes. This guide explains how to create an author account, prepare your files, complete the submission form, and track your submission status through the review process.

Before You Submit

Review the journal's Author Guidelines (available on the journal website) and confirm your manuscript is within scope, follows the formatting requirements, and has not been submitted elsewhere simultaneously. All co-authors must approve the submission before it is made.

Step 1 — Register or Log In

Visit the journal's website and click Submit Manuscript. If you are a new user, create a free author account using your institutional or personal email. If you have an ORCID iD, you can link it during registration for automatic author identification across submissions.

ORCID: ScholarJMS integrates with ORCID. Linking your ORCID iD ensures your publications are automatically attributed to your researcher profile.

Step 2 — Start a New Submission

From your author dashboard, click New Submission and complete each section:

Manuscript Details

Title, abstract (150–300 words), keywords (4–6 terms), article type (Research Article, Review, Case Study, etc.), and subject area.

Co-Authors

Add all contributing authors in order. For each, enter their full name, institutional affiliation, and email. The corresponding author is marked and will receive all editorial correspondence.

File Upload

Upload the manuscript file (PDF, DOCX, or LaTeX ZIP). Figures and supplementary files can be uploaded separately. Maximum file size: 50 MB per file.

Declarations

Conflict of interest declaration, funding acknowledgement, ethical approval reference (if applicable), and data availability statement.

Step 3 — Review and Submit

ScholarJMS shows a submission summary before you confirm. Review all details — once submitted, the manuscript enters the editorial queue and co-authors receive a confirmation email. You will see the submission in your dashboard with status Submitted.

Tracking Your Submission

Your author dashboard shows real-time status for every submission. Status labels:

Submitted Received, awaiting editorial screening
Under Review With peer reviewers
Revisions Required Revision requested — upload revised manuscript to continue
Accepted Manuscript accepted for publication
Published Article live on the journal website with DOI
